Testimonials

  • "Hillary's room is so romantic, warm and cozy. I love all the little personal touches that you have so lovingly tucked away in unexpected places. This is now my favorite room, but I've said that about all the rooms we've stayed in here. Keep the wonderful breakfasts coming‚ that's Bill's favorite part of the stay."

It’s a busy weekend in Waco!

Waco’s history as the cotton capital of Texas is celebrated every year with an elaborate production known as the Cotton Palace Pageant, taking place this year on Friday, April 24, 2015. Events take place over the course of the weekend, attracting visitors from all over the state who come to both enjoy and participate in the event. (For more information about the history of the Cotton Palace, check out the Waco History app at www.wacohistory.org.)

According to resident historian and former innkeeper, Dutch Schroeder, the Cotton Palace Bed and Breakfast draws on some of the same rich tradition in Waco history.
