Becky retired in 2010 from the Midway Independent School District after 25 years of teaching. She taught broadcast journalism, speech, debate, English and career development classes. She spent most of her teaching career being in charge of Midway’s debate program. She coached many state debate champions and individual speaking event winners. She also coached the Midway Mock Trial team to numerous state appearances and final rounds.
